B.E.S.I.D.E. Herself!

Lily Kay has just practically been beside herself this week, with countdowns to all sorts of wonderful things coming up in her life:

--Her birthday is next Thursday ("6 days to me birthday!" she will tell anyone who will listen!)

--"2 months until me swim" (she has been asking me about this daily for a while now...she is so excited to get back in "our" pool!")

--And yesterday was her Friday to go out to breakfast with daddy!

Thursday she kept saying "After dark, I get to go breakfast with daddy! You know where I go?"

Me: (pretending like I didn't already know the answer...but she'd already been telling me for a week which place she'd decided that she and Jas were going this time) "Are you going to choose Burger King?"

Lily Kay: "Noooooo...you know where I go?"

Me: "Are you going to choose McDonalds?"

Lily Kay: "Noooooo...you know where I go?"

etc....etc....etc....

Considering we only have about 5 choices of places to go for breakfast in our town, the game actually didn't take too long....thankfully!

And then Little Miss Thang came waltzing into our room Friday morning at 5:30 a.m., ready to go out to breakfast with Daddy! (Jas told her it wasn't time yet and to go back to sleep...but she brought herself back in here at 6:30, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed...so I don't believe she went back to sleep!)
(No, those navy blue "Cars" pajama bottoms do not actually belong to our precious, delicate little flower of a girl. They belong to her "buddy", but "buddies" think it is fun to share clothes with one another!)

I don't know...
...did she look excited as she headed out to eat breakfast with daddy?
