We've never planned ahead with children. We always just take care of the adoption before us, add that precious child to our family...and then pray and wait and see if the Lord is leading us to adopt again.
But that is not how it has happened this time. And I for one am thrilled to know that two more children will be added to our family. It just makes me smile every time I think about it.
And we have told everyone around us that this is the case. I've even done a blog post about it.
So how was Elisabeth surprised at this information? I don't have any idea. But she was.
When we were discussing how we'll use "Gabriel" this time and "Joseph" next time...she was shocked.
Elisabeth: "We're adopting again?"
Me: "Yes."
Elisabeth: "You mean, after Gabriel...you already know we're adopting again???"
Me: "Yes."
Elisabeth: "Is God telling you to do this?"
Ummm...yes. Yes, He is...and we're so thankful!
The Lord has done great things for us,
