In this post last week, I said that "for months now I've looked at our family picture...and felt we were missing some faces."
I've had some questions about the "faces" part of my comment.
To clarify: Yes, I did mean to make that plural. Yes, we do intend to adopt more than one African American child. We are open to twins (my mom says we just don't know what we're talking about)...or if not twins, then we'll adopt again (in a year or two or three).
We want everyone in our family to be able to look around and see someone else who looks like them, right here in our family.
