Yes...she did

While Daniel, Noah and I were busy with Daniel's doctor appointments yesterday...Lily Kay and Elisabeth stayed with Laoli.

It might be the last time Laoli lets that happen.

When my mom brought the girls home, her eyes were big and she was carrying a page that she'd printed off her computer. She'd just done some hasty computer research and made a phone call. Her page had some highlighted sections of print, along with some notes that she'd scribbled on the page. The pink highlighted section read:

"The strong acid content of the stomach will kill the germs and larva in short order."

WHAT?!?!?

It seems that after she woke up from her nap at Laoli's house, Lily Kay was ready for a snack...and decided that the Mexican Jumping Beans that Laoli picked up at the airport flying home from Kansas a few weeks ago looked tasty!

WHAT?!?!?

We've been playing with these things every time we've been at Laoli's house the past few weeks.

WHAT?!?!?

They look nothing like the yummy pecans, cashews, walnuts and almonds that we normally eat...in fact, the Jumping Beans don't look yummy at all.

When I asked Lily Kay why she had eaten them, she smiled, shrugged and said, "I dun know!"

I am happy to report that Miss Lily Kay has shown no adverse effects from her unusual snack yesterday.

Laoli, on the other hand, had her lifespan shortened by about 5 years from the stress.
