We're leaving early tomorrow afternoon, all 6 of us...and we're so excited about what we're headed to do!
We get to spend "A Night with the Chapmans" in Savannah! Yep, the evening with our dear friends, Steven Curtis and Mary Beth Chapman!
O.k., we haven't actually met them before...but we do hold these precious people close to our hearts.
And, o.k., there will actually be other people there also...lots of other people, actually.
But we do get to work at their Show Hope booth at the concert tomorrow night.

From their website: "Show Hope is a non-profit organization that mobilizes individuals and communities to meet the most pressing needs of orphans in distress by providing 1) homes for waiting children through adoption aid grants, and 2) life-saving medical care for orphans with special needs."
Show Hope gave us a grant for Daniel's adoption...and we just think the world of this ministry.
And so we are very excited - and very privileged - to be able to work the Show Hope booth tomorrow night.
Hopefully, we'll have lots of great pictures to post sometime on Saturday.
And if we happened to end up with any pictures of us with our good friends Steven Curtis and Mary Beth Chapma...well, that would be really cool.
That is awesome, they gave us a grant for Erin, they were a saving grace. I saw him years and years ago in a concert in MN, but didn't really know who he was then.....

ReplyDeleteOk...I am so jealous. I'm pretty sure it falls somewhere close to coveting. It's not fair!!!! Our grant from them...it was for Raegan, but it came so late (in the pile of mail waiting after that trip we shared in `05), it allowed us to pay off the debt from Raegan's adoption and turn right around and start Robyn's. God's perfect timing Oh, my...so jealous!! :)
