Daniel's Appointments

It was time for some more doctor appointments yesterday...and this time it was Daniel's turn. So Daniel and Noah and I trekked down to the Children's Clinic (about an hour and a half away)...while the girls stayed behind and played with Laoli.

We continue to have follow-up appointments with Daniel's ENT to monitor his hearing loss. Daniel is an old pro at hearing tests now, so he marched right into the sound booth and did a great job taking his test. The results were consistent with what we've seen in the past, so it is stable. Great news!

We also met with our urologist. She has previously performed 3 surgeries on Daniel, to resolve his hypospadias (back when he was 2 and 3 years old). Daniel had several small fistulas form after the last surgery...and it is time to take care of them. SO, Mr. Daniel is now scheduled for surgery on December 8th. This surgery will be so much physically easier than his previous surgeries...but it's going to be harder mentally, since he's older now.
