Fieldtrip: Hayride, Pumpkin Patch, Corn Maze

Our homeschool group had a very fun Fall fieldtrip yesterday!

But, first things first...check out our new t-shirts we just received yesterday:

So cute! My dear friend Amy did a great job designing these for us!

Back to the fieldtrip...

We got to take a hayride to a pumpkin patch...

...and each pick out our own precious little pumpkin.

There were many other fun activities at the farm...

Bull riding...

Duck races (propelled by hand-pumps!)

Very unique slides

Our last activity of the day was a corn maze.

We started out by letting the children lead.

Big mistake.

By this time it was about 2 in the afternoon and even though it was October 8th...it was either high 80s or low 90s (I didn't check the weather, bad mama...or I would NOT have had us in jeans!)

So, when we got into a bigger, open spot in the middle of the maze, we stopped for a short photo-op...

...and then headed straight out of the corn maze, not following the paths at all.

Yes, we cheated...but we. were. done.

We had a great time at this farm. It was the first time we'd ever been there...and I look forward to this being a new Fall tradition!
