Health Fair

It was daddy's turn to be the officer-on-duty during the bank's Saturday morning hours this past Saturday...so what were the children and I to do?

We attended our church's first ever Health Fair!

My Aunt Marty (in the middle), a life-long nurse, was on the committe that organized this event.

We started the morning by participating in the 1-mile Run.

I told my children it was a 1-mile "Walk", but Elisabeth didn't listen and she ran the whole way!

Guess who pulled up the rear of the Run/Walk???

I don't know if Lily Kay was slowing down Laoli and Aunt Susu...or if it was the other way around!

Then we headed into the Fellowship Hall and got our blood pressure checked...

...and our blood oxygen levels checked...

...and we gave Laoli some moral support while she got a couple of shots.

We felt much stronger and better just for having attended the Health Fair.

And we celebrated all the healthiness by going through McDonald's drive-thru for lunch.

Not. even. kidding.
