Our resident Crazy man...DANIEL!
On Tuesday as we walked past his bike in the carport, I said "Daniel, I know that you could totally ride that bike without your training wheels now if you tried."
So he got on there - with me holding him steady- and he was off !!!
At first he was only good at the straightaways...but couldn't get started or turn by himself.
But just two short days later, he's now starting by himself and has made a couple of turns by himself!
He is so proud that he is telling everyone we see about his new accomplishments.
When he saw our elderly neighbor out in his front yard earlier this afternoon, he ran out into the carport yelling, "Mr. Herbert! Watch...look what I can do!"
Mr. Herbert did watch...and he was duly impressed.
Way to go, Daniel - we're proud of you, buddy!

ReplyDeleteGuess what. Kati still can't ride without her training wheels, but then she doesn't really care about the bike much. :) Reckon Daniel could give her some pointers?
