Doesn't that sound like fun?
I don't think so either.
I'm taking Miss Lily Kay to our children's hospital tomorrow. We have to report there at 6:30 a.m....which means we need to leave the house by at least 5 a.m. She will undergo some real good poking and prodding. Our urologist needs to check everything out real good, in preparation for the surgery that Lily Kay will be having...likely before the end of the year.
The only good part is that at least LK will be out for the poking and prodding. She wouldn't have to be out, but she will be alot more comfortable - and still - if she is out.
We don't know if LK has ever had anesthesia before, but we pray that she doesn't have any problems or reactions to it. After having been through a good number of surgeries and procedures with the boys we know that these situations really encompass two big prayers: one is for the results, and the second is just getting through the procedure itself.
So, we're praying for our Lily Kay...and we'd appreciate your prayers too.
You've got it, friends. I was going to call you today, but I got busy....I must not let that happen again! :)
ReplyDeleteOhh my, You all will be lifted up! Please call if we can bring you anything! Much love!
ReplyDeleteYou must be headed there right now.....praying for a safe trip and all to go well this morning. Hoping the results are positive also. We have to make a similar trek with Raegan on Friday AM...leaving by ~ 6am to get to the children's hospital for a urinary tract test; she will have sedation (her first ever also) but won't be quite asleep. I'm not looking forward to it :(
ReplyDeleteWe are praying right now! May our God that gives us unmeasurable peace give you a whole bunch right now. :) Lots of hugs!
ReplyDeletePraying my friend! I love to hear your LK say, "Miss Wobbie," boogers and other things considered....I will check in with you later today,
ReplyDeleteRobbie
