But we knew this day would eventually arrive...
My younger brother Jeff and his family have been here this past week visiting from Kansas. It's been almost exactly a year since we last saw them. The children are now old enough that the days of "parallel play" are over...and they have had a great time playing together the past five days!
They stayed at Laoli and Papa's house, and we all played there alot...
...alot!
While they were here we also got to swim in our cousin Neile's pool...
...and we were able to visit with our Great Aunt Doffie in her new retirement home digs. She is very brave...she said she wanted ALL of us to come spend the night with her in her room!
We had a great time playing at the beach one day...
Daddy even took the day off from work to come with us - yay!
It blows my children's minds that Laoli is Uncle Jeff's mama too! (Or "Unmple Jepp", according to Lily Kay.)
My sis-in-law, Mandi, with Reese and our nephew, Davis.
Davis is a little peanut who just turned 2, and yes, he is as precious as he looks!
He's not quite big enough to play everything the big kids play...but don't tell him that!
We were also able to spend time fishing and picnicking out at Papa's farm.
My children are in mourning that they've left to fly home.
They've already asked me when they're coming back...or if we can go visit them in Kansas!
