Please tell me that I'm not the only one who every year - a few days into the new school year - starts thinking:
"I can't do this. Please, Lord, tell me you're not really calling me to do this!"
The ugly truth is that I know He is, in fact, calling me and Jas to do this.
And He will not only show us how to do it...but how to do it well. Right?!?
Oh Joli, I feel your pain!!! The oldest two have been going to band camp with Jim all last week. I told my mom one day that it would be so "easy" to just enroll them in school and have the days free. However, I love them and God wants me to have them home (although I truly enjoyed my quiet week)

Ohhhh, yeah, do I EVER feel your pain!!!! We haven't started yet and I am just trying to find the time to get through the planning part!! BUT, you are so right that God works it all for OUR good! Thank you friend for the encouragement and being real!! Love ya!!
ReplyDeleteYOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBut you are right....He will show us and give us the grace and wisdom to get through.
Hang in there...only 2 days till Friday! lol
Sister! I've been freaking out all week! We started school on Monday, and I've been totally like, "Lord, I cannot do this. Can't I just bail?"
ReplyDeleteI think I would definately be freaking out if I tried to tackle starting everything for the new school year at the same time. It would be too much for me. A staggered start seems to be working for us. That way I only have to yell at the kids for their lack of effort at the gate in one or two subjects, not everything all at once :) LOL!!! Prayers for a great school year there!!!
