Well, now that the top is a little longer, it wants to just go straight forward on their foreheads. In order to get it to lay to the side (and stay put), I knew we were going to need to get serious.
Enter: Gel
Also known in our house as "Jail"...according to my Southern-raised children. (Yes, it is precious to hear.)
The boys have never had to "do" their hair in the mornings. So I knew this "jail" routine would take some training. So the three of us headed to the bathroom....
Start with one dollop of gel.
...it's all good, because you're so stinkin' cute!
Noah: done!
Next, was Daniel's turn.
I should have known we were headed for trouble when he got so much gel.
This boy had bigger plans.
And he was even more pleased (shocked, actually) when I let him wear his hair this way to the Sunday evening children's activities at church.
While I haven't chilled about everything, I have chilled about stuff like this - you know, in my old age.
I happen to love gel in the hair of little boys. Too precious!
