What They're Thankful For

I wanted to go ahead and record this before I forgot...

We did a Thankful Tree this year...

....and finished it up on Thanksgiving Day.

It was precious to see what the children were thankful for. To get a peek at their little hearts - the big things...and the not-so-big things.

Here is a handful of the things that each of them wrote down on their leaves: (They all - thankfully - wrote down "Mama", "Daddy", and each other, so I won't write that over and over)

I have no idea what she was thankful for on these days...but I'm sure it was something extremely touching and profound...
