I mentioned in this post that there are bookoodles (is that how you spell that?) of families in our local area in the process of adopting right now.
Well...the children have started coming home....
The A family just got home last week with their two new girls. It was such a blessing to "follow along" on their blog to witness their new 8- and 13-year old girls joining their Forever Family!
And now my precious friend Vicki (that I've spoken of often) is in the air right now on her way to China to bring home precious Will and Sophie. I know they would greatly appreciate your prayers as their family undergoes this amazing - and challenging - transition.
And over the next few months several more of our friends will be traveling to China - boom, boom, boom - one right after another, practically, to bring home more treasures.
Our domestic adoption process is a tad bit (understatement) more unpredictable than an international adoption process, but we're (trying oh-so-hard to) trust the Lord and His perfect timing. Presumably somewhere in the middle of all this, we'll be bringing home our precious Gabriel!
Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him. (Ps. 127:3, NLT)
Woohoo!! Bring 'em home!! Vicki, if you by chance read this one night while you are awake at 4:00 am trying to get adjusted to the time over there, know you are in our prayers!!! Joli, thanks for reminding me to pray for them all!! Love to you all!!
