The children and I are headed to North Carolina on Friday to spend the weekend with my dear high school bud, Kristin. She schlepped her kiddos down here last summer, so it was our turn to head their way.

To tell the truth, the kiddos have been about to drive me crazy asking "how many more days until North Carolina?"
