An Odd Place to find Tennessee

Noah is fascinated by all 50 of our states in these great United States. He spots "states" in lots of things. For example: "Mama, this cheese looks like Oklahoma!"

I think it really began when we read this wonderful and entertaining book I got through inter-library loan, The Scrambled States of America by Laurie Keller. He loved it. Wanted to read it over and over.

We also have a table full of those great placemats from Walmart ($1.00 each) on different topics - solar system, colors, shapes, multiplication tables, etc....but his favorites are the map of the world and the map of the United States.
