Lunch with Family

The children and I were blessed to be able to have lunch out with a bunch of the "girlies" from my family today.

My grandmother, Grandma Joyce, was one of 7 children...so I have lots of family, here and scattered around.

Here are Grandma Joyce's two sisters, Aunt Dophie (seated) and Aunt Elaine.

Here are my mom (3rd from left) her sister, Aunt Sheila (far left) and four of their first cousins. This is three sets of sisters - I love that!

Mom and her cousin, Cynthia (we call her CC) were inseparable as children.

Now most of these women don't live right here in our little town, but we do get to see them often enough, thankfully, that my children know and love them.

The fact that they're crazy and fun doesn't hurt!

The children behaved well (to my great relief) and we had a wonderful time getting to share a meal with family!
