It is with much joy and thanksgiving that we announce our referral for our first precious child!
Name: Cen Ye Gui - soon to be Elisabeth Grace YeGui
DOB: June 14, 2003 (she is 4 days shy of turning 1 year old)
She is waiting for us at the Hengfeng SWI in Jiangxi, China
We received "the call" today from our agency with our referral info. When Jas walked in the house during work hours, unexpectedly, I knew immediately what was going on: he'd been given a 'heads-up' call by our agency contact, giving him time to drive home so that we could take "the call" together, and hear all about our daughter together. Our agency was then going to scan all her pictures and e-mail them to us. So Jas and I drove back to Jason's office so that we could receive the e-mail with Elisabeth's pictures in them together. We got to see our precious daughter's face for the first time, together. We realize we may be somewhat biased, but we do believe that this is simply the most precious baby girl we have ever seen!
We expect to be able to travel to bring Elisabeth home in August - and we cannot wait!
