Worth It

Elisabeth took some pictures with my camera and then came to show me.  

She was so pleased with what she'd captured. As well she should be.  

She and I just smiled and giggled as we looked through the pictures together.  

What a blessed, visual reminder.  

I never would have imagined that at the age of 42 (closing in on 43) that I would have a 1-year old and a 3-year old.  

I get up early every morning and fall into bed exhausted at the end of every day. 

And it is - without a doubt - completely, totally, entirely....worth it.  

The other option - getting a full-night's sleep every night (not having our sleep interrupted every. single. night) and having a smooth and interruption-free homeschool day - makes me shudder.
