Death Warmed Over

This is exactly what I've looked - and more importantly, felt - like the past 5 days: Death Warmed Over

It hit me - rather like a semi truck - on Saturday night. I went to the doctor on Tuesday - the first time I've gone for something besides an adoption physical in over 3 years.

Sinus infection. And I believe I must have one if not two infected ears also.

Anyway, this girl who doesn't like doctors and really doesn't like antibiotics is very happily taking her antibiotics just as the doctor ordered. I seriously do not remember ever having felt this bad in my life. (Not even after my kidney surgery.)

Jas took off work Monday and Tuesday. My sweet friend Vicki had 3/4 of my kiddos on Wednesday (Mr. Noah is an Unapologetic Mama's Boy), while my sweet friend Amy brought me some absolutely yummy homemade creamy chicken soup for lunch - since Jas wasn't here to wait on me hand-and-foot anymore.


In the meantime, the "Scheduling" function on blogger has been my friend this week also. I just happened to get multiple posts ready on Friday night (when I do a vast majority of my blogging) and was able to "schedule" them to hit this week...which worked out great because while I was running a fever and (stuff you don't want to read about) and (more stuff you don't want to read about)....life went on like normal on my sweet little blog.

I'm ready for this to be over.

And I definitely see glimpses of the light at the end of the tunnel...but I'm ready to get there already.

Most importantly, I'm ready to celebrate Christmas with my children...who are so ready to celebrate Christmas!
