Papa's Birthday Party

We are so very thankful to have my parents living very close by. "As the crow flies" it's not very far - but since all the neighbors in between us might not appreciate us riding bikes and big wheels through their yards, we take the "long" way, which is 0.5 miles.

After 39 years with GMAC (who moved us ALL over tarnation while I was growing up), Dad retired last year. The children (and the rest of us!) are so happy to have him around here more now! Last week we all got together to celebrate his birthday.

The weather was pretty nice, so we ended up just eating outside, so the children could run around and play.

Who needs fancy electronic toys to have a good time???
