We captured this momentous beginning with much pomp and circumstance...and, of course, some pictures.
Zibing is a FABULOUS medicine taker! She actually wanted to start the medicine the night before, but I didn't want to give her a new medicine right before she went to bed, since I wouldn't be able to keep an eye on her. She chews up these NON-chewable tablets - thankfully the nurse said this was o.k.!
Our "class" on her emergency supply of medicine (that will now travel with us everywhere) went well today. I was very glad that Zibing didn't start crying when she saw the nurse start waving a needle around! The nurse...and then mama...and then daddy, each took turns giving shots to a helpless little spongy thing!
She also needs to start wearing a medical ID bracelet.
Guess who is about to be the proud new owner of a pretty, beaded, multi-colored medical ID bracelet???
